Today (May 20) I saw a Tropical Kingbird at 15:57 atop the tree at approximately 33.70979N,118.28538W (the same location where as many as 6-8 Western Kingbirds would hang out when they were recently here). This is a new yard bird for me, as well as the first time I've seen this species within 4 miles of home. It stayed until 16:16, then flew to the palm tree at 33.70989N,118.28572W.
