Birds of prey often migrate along geographic features such as shorelines and ridges, and there are hawk watching sites across the country. Raptors include vultures, eagles, kites, harriers, accipiters, buteos, falcons, and owls. While diverse, there are a lot of similarities among birds of prey. Since observations are often at far distances and in poor lighting, they can be a very difficult group to identify. Join Ted as he provides a primer in how to separate raptor groups. This webinar will be livestreamed on our YouTube channel and will also be recorded for later viewing.
