    Paul and Calbirds I was helping on the ACCESS research cruises last week, and had a Hawaiian Petrel just off the continental shelf in San Mateo county. This was not a day with much wind, but Hawaiians seem to be much less wind dependent than Murphys. We saw four different Laysan Albatrosses. We only dipped past the shelf edge, were never super far out.
