The Zimmer's Tapaculo (Scytalopus zimmeri) is a species of passerinebird in the Rhinocryptidae family. It is endemic to Bolivia.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montanes, subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland, and rocky areas.
Its name commemorates American ornithologist John Todd Zimmer.
It is terrestrial and prefers to run rather than fly.
