The Red-billed Pied Tanager (Lamprospiza melanoleuca) is a small passerine bird, a member of the tanager family. It is the only member of the genus Lamprospiza.
The Red-billed Pied Tanager is 17 cm in length and weighs 34 g. It lives in the lowlands of Brazil, Bolivia, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru and Suriname. It occurs in groups of 3-6 individuals. It forages in mixed flocks for fruits in trees.
