The Red-and-black Thrush (Zoothera mendeni) is a species of bird in the Turdidae family. It is endemic to forests on the Indonesian islands of Taliabu and Peleng. Traditionally, it has been considered a subspecies of the Red-backed Thrush.

It is threatened by habitat loss.
