The Madagascar Hoopoe (Upupa epops marginata) is a subspecies of Hoopoe in the Upupidae family. It is often considered to be treated as a separate species to the Hoopoe due to its vocalisations and small differences in plumage, but is otherwise similar to the rest of the species. It is endemic to Madagascar.

Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical dry forests.
