The Chestnut Seedeater (Sporophila cinnamomea) is a species of bird in the Thraupidae family. It is found in Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland. It is threatened by habitat loss.
